MBA FINANCE
De Paul College started the course MBA with the aim to provide higher education possibility to the village poor students of Andhra Pradesh especially of West Godavari District. The management course was begun in the year 2009 and from then onwards we have a normal flow of admission to the course. The intake capacity of the course is 60 and we have a testimony of rapid filling of the all the seats as soon as the notification is released.
Finance is one of the most sought after specialization of MBA and a big community of students are attracted towards this specialization. When we hear the term ‘Finance’, we think of banking, but finance is much more than just banking. Finance as a subject involves the management, control and review of the collection, investment and resources of money as a capital required for an industrial building, plant and working.
In this age of industrialization, there is extensive demand for active and skilled financial analyst against their financial sector for preparation and control. Therefore, MBA in finance is most sought programme in across the world. In this course, the students are offered the knowledge and skills of analytical thinking, continuous process, concept of managerial decision, maintaining balance between risk & profitability, coordination process and centralized nature. Finance MBA can work in banking as well as non-banking sectors. You can work anywhere in the corporate world. Every industry has a need for financial expert for maintaining their balance of capital. But at the same time it very important to make a correct choice of Institution from where you decide to pursue the course. You should opt for a college or institution with good curriculum, quality and skillful education with numerous opportunities
The pure finance functions are usually taken at top of level of organization. These crucial decisions will involve the experience and expertise in the finance decisions of course considering many internal and external factors as well.The Chartered Accountants or Cost accountants (in some companies) with lots of experience will take the decisions and obviously management also influence the decisions.
Usually, the MBA finance degree holders will get a job mostly in Accounts department as an Executive or Senior executive level as the case may be and not allowed to any finance functions as such. These jobs will involve accounting function rather than finance functions.
Your degree from a reputed organizations such as IIM or some business schools may make some difference.Usually the MBA finance degree holders settled in accounts department as depart head depending on the hierarchy of the organization.
