BSC CHEMISTRY
De Paul Degree College was opened in the year 1997 with two streams of B Sc (MPC and MPCS) and B.com courses. Each course is having the intake capacity of 60 and the medium of instruction is English. The college is affiliated to Aadikavi Nannaya University and is recognized by APSCHE. Recently the college has made a milestone in two areas that is to start a BBA course in the scholastic year 2020-21 and the procedure to accredit the college with NAAC
Chemistry is the science of the composition, Structure, properties, and reaction of materials, namely atomic and molecular system. During B.Sc. Chemistry program, it is taken up by the study of various theories of chemistry and its branches. Applicants should have analytical and problem – solving mind, examining and interpreting results and making evaluations based on limited information are most suitable for it.
Chemistry has a wide scope as you see around us everything involves chemistry. If you have done BSc in Chemistry then don't stop at this stage proceed to higher education and you will have two choices. First, you can go in teaching or research field while you can also opt for industry. Usually the chemists specialize in one or more sub disciplines depending on their interests and the choice of their specialized field. B. Sc Chemistry is the under graduate degree awarded by many universities in India for the students after the successful completion of their graduation in chemistry. The course in chemistry is useful for the students in various aspects and offers them with bright career. The course helps the students in improving their diverse skills in various areas such as laboratory skills, numerical and computing skills, ability to approach to the problems both analytically and logically, time management skills, etc. The B. Sc chemistry graduates have many options for their higher studies. Majority of these graduates opt for master’s degree in the same.
